- “No Pain No Gain” – in regard to massage, this is mostly incorrect:
“If your muscles ARE relaxing (the intention behind any massage, even remedial massage is for the muscles to relax) then you should FEEL RELAXED!” – Stephanie
- “You need to book a massage every week/fortnight or at least every month” – Some people do, and some people don’t. In the same way that:
“some vehicles need a service every month, and some only once a year or less, depending on which comes first the KMs or the DATE. ” – Stephanie
- “Well it’s your age dear, or because you have this condition or that condition you will just have to put up with it, learn to live with it” – this also is mostly incorrect:
” Your body will whisper before it shouts! The same way that if your vehicle started to make a funny noise, you would find out what is going on, or deal with the consequenses, don’t just ‘put up with your pain’, find out what is going on with your body. ” – Stephanie
